Blog 10: Evaluation of blog experience

My experience doing blogs was diverse, when the topics are of my interest is fewer complexes create the blog. However when the blog is the topics not interesting for me, It took me a long time to produce this, turning constantly to my companions of class. But it was a very different experience from the activities that I had done in previous years in the subject of English.

My favorite blog was when we choose through a voting, this the is “my favorite music”, because I knew a lot about this -it's my interest- and I little expense, it's the blog I remember the most.

The blog has helped me to write better in English, although it is still difficult for me (I have never liked learn about languages ​​haha). I hope continue progressing in the writing skills of this subject.

I think the topics of the class are interesting (the majority), but I would like to write about favorite foods, sports, favorite activities in free time and where I would like to travel.

I hope that the activities of this subject continue to be different and innovative, to understand more the English language

Blog 9:  My favorite music

My favorite music is Metal music.

In the Metal there are different types: thrash, death, heavy, black, and others.

1)      The thrash metal is the first genre favorite of Metal, the violent guitar, bass and drums, I love it. The content of lyrics is different, because it is very critical in charge of society. My favorite band of this style is Kreator.

2)      My second favorite style of Metal is Death. This is characterized for guttural voices and violent instruments, with bloody theme (in general). My favorite band of this style, is Opeth (progressive death metal).

3)      The Black is my third favorite, with a satanic theme, against of religious institution. My favorite band is Cradle of filth (black/gothic).

In Chile make different recitals called “tocatas”, with names as “Victims of Death”, “Total Thrash”, “Metal Mayhem”, “Metal Grind” and “Sobredosis”. In the majority of these events, the persons are very supportive, because everyone gives their best.

This style I like since the five years, when my brother shows me two bands continuously: Rammstein and Metallica.

Actually, I go to “tocatas” when I have got money and time.

Blog 7: A Career-Related Website

My favorite website related to the Public Administration is the Transparency Portal of the State of Chile, the link for if you want to visit it: https://portaltransparencia.cl/PortalPdT/

The website contains different state organizations such as Ministries, The regional government, Intendancies, Municipalities, Municipal corporations, Armed forces, special forces, among others.

You can request public information from various areas, follow up and do a demand. Requesting information is a right of all people, and is established by law.

I do not visit the website frequently, but when I need information for a work or when I have doubts about specific civil servant, I do the corresponding search.

I like this website because it is a way to inform people, and generate conscience with what is done through public funds; eliminate the ignorance of the people, and maintains an informed society. In addition, it is a support tool to keep civil servant control, and to be able to deposit -or not- confidence in them.

This is a website which delves into democracy that everybody wants for our country. So We must learn how to take advantage of it

My favorite movies

1.- Interview with the Vampire

I like this movie because it is dynamic, and the events that happened are unexpected. In addition, the effects, makeup, clothing, the characterization in general is well done. My favorite character is Lestat, who different stages, with different emotions, his personality are fort and interesting. I will recommend, especially to people that like the Gothic theme.

2.- Martyrs

I like this movie because left me a lesson about the people and what they can do for the power of the information, in this specific case, information about what have after of the death. The torture that see the women to obtain information is brutal and shocking. My favorite character is Anna because since the beginning she helped to Lucie without any discrimination. Finally, Anna is the first that arrived to phase of the unique information of the “experiment”. I recommend the movie, but I warn you that is very violent.

Blog 5: A photograph I like

I am a lover of selfies and photographs. I usually take photos in different places.

This photo was taken May 20^th, 2018. My uncle took the photo, in her birthday number 41 in Calera de Tango.

It’s a special moment because there are few family reunions and the moment was very fun.

This day in the family conversation, we realized that a long time ago that talking’s about us and the other things that experience. I knew the new experiences each other, nor the problems that they were suffering. The challenge was more get together with they and support between all.

Additionally,  we share with my grandmother, she is the north of Chile (IV region) and we can´t see her because the distance. We tried to have fun with her in all moment (she is a person very special from me).

I like this photo, because be all my family is close and we are happy.

Bread and roses film review

The movie talk about the life of Maya, a Latin immigrant in Los Angeles city.

I like the film, because it´s very inspiring movie and the menssage of the fight is important to raise awareness of the problems in the society,  

My favorite characters are Sam, because he is a persistent person and never left his dispute for better working conditions, 

One thing I don´t like about the movie is that Maya was separated from her love,friends and familiy;  the autority of United states could have made a more just decission .

One thing I like about the movie is the persistence of the workers for obtain respect, organization, increased salary and the right to unionize.

My favorite scene is when the crowd arrives to bthe building where they work, demanding answers to their requests, because it makes me happy that they fight for justice. 

Blog 3: My favorite piece of technology.

I think my favorite piece of technology is my IPhone (cell phone).  I got it in 2018; it is a present from my mother (in my birthday). I use it all time, in different places: my home, university, an the bus, when I walk. 

I use it to listen to music (the big occupation), always I have a lot of music (different styles); I use it to talk with my friends of primary, secondary school and university , the communication is very important for me. 

 I like my IPhone because it has everything I need: music, camera, games, access to internet and social networks.

If this object did not exist, I will have a lot of free time and I can not listen to music  on my trips to home or other places.
